A+ Student, Valedictorian, ALL-Around Student

Alessandro has attended Champagnat High School since fall 2002, from an early start he set himself apart being the number one student of his class. Holding a 3.800 GPA (19 out of 20 in the Venezuelan grading system) he is and has been the valedictorian of his class ever since he entered the school 10 years ago.

A normal school day for Ale consists of waking up at 5:00am to have breakfast with his mom, and then he is off to school. School starts at 7:00am and it ends around 2:00pm. Ale’s favorite subject is math. Tuesday is his favorite school day, that day is loaded with his favorite subjects (Math-Physics-Chemistry-Biology).

Alessandro would be graduating this upcoming school year (2012-2013). After high school he plans to study a mayor related with technology. Some of the choices he is considering are Computer Science and Computer Engineer. He has set his mind to enter some of the best universities in the US, his wish list include: Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Boston University and Columbia.

Apart from his busy school and soccer agenda Ale has been studying English for the past 4 years, currently he is taking a TOEFL prep course where his average is around the 100 points on the TOEFL IBT, he is set to take the TOEFL late November or early December, as well as training for the TOEFL, Ale is simultaneously preparing himself to take the SAT. In a recent SAT practice test he scored 1810 points. He is set to take the SAT on January 2013.

Alessandro is actively seeking for a academic-soccer scholarship that would allow him to study in the US. He became a member of EESR Latin America in the summer of 2012; EESR Latin America is a nonprofit organization that helps young student-athletes with the ropes of scholarship search in the US. With a 3.800 GPA and multiple ALL-State awards in Soccer should give Ale a pretty solid case for coaches to consider him as a possible prospect.
